The service

Tally is a free web app for tracking your own spending. You set a monthly budget, add expenses yourself, and Tally calculates how much you can spend each day. It does not connect to banks or make payments.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure. You can delete your Tally account and its data at any time from Settings. See the privacy policy for what is stored.

Not financial advice

Tally's figures come only from the budget and expenses you enter. They are a planning aid, not financial, tax or legal advice. Check anything important yourself.

Acceptable use

Use Tally for your own expense tracking. Don't try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or misuse it.

Availability

Tally is provided as it is, and may change, pause or stop. Export your data as CSV if you want your own copy. If Tally is going to shut down, the plan is to give notice so you can export first.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
